BITS Pilani Dubai Campus (BPDC) has announced the establishment of the Ankitt Gaur Centre of Excellence in Blockchain & AI Research.
The centre, named after Ankitt Gaur, a distinguished alumnus and Founder & CEO of OrbitXPay, aims to foster innovation in Blockchain, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Web3 technologies.
The centre will serve as a key platform for research, collaboration, and the development of start-ups, bridging the gap between academia and industry. Through this initiative, BPDC seeks to enhance its contributions to technological advancements while supporting the growing demand for expertise in these fields.
Ankitt Gaur, who completed his studies at BPDC in 2009, has committed to advancing education and innovation through both the Centre of Excellence and the Nirmala Devi Scholarship for Girls at BITS Pilani’s Hyderabad campus.
This 100% scholarship supports female students in India, reflecting Gaur’s dedication to empowering underserved communities through education and technology.
Gaur expressed his gratitude to BITS Pilani for shaping his career and stated his vision for the centre to inspire innovation in AI, Blockchain, and Web3.
The initiative marks a significant milestone in BPDC’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its ties with alumni and foster global leadership in next-generation technologies.
