Air Arabia Abu Dhabi has launched its first direct service to Yerevan, Armenia, further expanding the airline’s route network from the UAE capital.
The inaugural flight departed from Zayed International Airport and was officially marked with a ceremony attended by H.E. Karen Grigoryan, Ambassador of Armenia to the UAE, along with airline and airport officials. Upon landing at Zvartnots International Airport, the aircraft was greeted with a traditional water cannon salute.
Flight schedule details
Flights to Yerevan will operate four times a week on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, departing Abu Dhabi at 09:00 and arriving in Yerevan at 12:20. Return flights will leave Yerevan at 13:10, landing in Abu Dhabi at 16:20.
On Mondays and Wednesdays, flights will depart Abu Dhabi at 14:05 and reach Yerevan by 17:25. The return leg will depart at 18:15 and arrive back in Abu Dhabi at 21:25. All services will be operated using Airbus A320 aircraft.

Focus on connectivity
The new route provides passengers with direct access between Abu Dhabi and the Armenian capital, supporting increased travel for both leisure and business purposes. The airline highlighted the route’s role in strengthening bilateral links and boosting tourism.
Air Arabia Abu Dhabi currently operates a fleet of Airbus A320 aircraft. The airline offers services such as ‘SkyTime’ in-flight streaming and onboard food options through its ‘SkyCafe’ menu.
