Strong demand for Emirates jobs as 1,300 apply at Dubai career fair

The Emirates Group received 1,300 applications for its National Cadet Pilot Programme during the 2026 National Service Career Fair, highlighting strong interest in aviation careers among UAE nationals.

The three-day event was held at the Dubai Exhibition Centre in Expo City Dubai from July 15 to 17. It brought together National Service Programme cadets, graduates and employers from different sectors.

Visitor turnout

The Emirates Group said around 2,300 people visited its stand during the career fair.

Alongside the National Cadet Pilot Programme, the Group showcased career and training opportunities through its Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Licence (AMEL) Programme, International Scholarship Programme, IT Scholarship Programme, National Scholarship Programme, Outstation Programme and Graduate Programme.

Recruiters and Emirati employees provided information on career paths and training opportunities for candidates with different academic backgrounds and career goals.

His Excellency Major General Khalifa Rashed Al Hameli, Director of the Office of the Minister of Defence, visited the Emirates Group stand as part of a ministerial delegation touring the exhibition.

He was welcomed by Khaled Alobeidli, Manager of Human Resources Recruitment, who briefed the delegation on the career opportunities available to candidates.

Emiratisation

The Emirates Group said its participation in the National Service Career Fair is part of its ongoing efforts to support the UAE’s Emiratisation agenda.

The company also takes part in career fairs, school outreach programmes and community engagement initiatives to encourage Emiratis to build careers in the travel and aviation sector.
