UAE travellers can now book a Maldives holiday through dnata Travel without knowing the resort name until after completing their booking, as the travel company brings back its “Secret Stays” campaign for summer 2026.

Maldives demand

The launch comes as the Maldives remains the most popular international destination among UAE travellers this summer, according to dnata Travel booking data. The destination accounts for around 20% of overseas hotel bookings and 54% of all-inclusive holiday bookings made through dnata Travel in 2026 so far.

The data shows a growing preference among travellers for packages that include accommodation, meals and experiences before departure.

Secret stays

The Secret Stays Maldives offer allows customers to book a luxury resort package while keeping the resort name undisclosed until the booking is confirmed.

dnata Travel has partnered with a Maldives resort for the offer, which is available for UAE residents until July 31, 2026, for travel until September 30, 2026.

Meerah Ketait, Head of Retail and Leisure UAE at dnata Travel, said: “The Maldives is a destination where many travellers turn to our experts for guidance, simply because there are so many resorts to choose from,”

“Secret Stays Maldives removes that complexity. Customers can book with confidence, knowing they are securing exceptional value at a quality resort, while enjoying the excitement of a surprise reveal.”

Package details

The three-night package starts from Dhs2,590 per adult and includes a Beach Villa stay on Full Board, return speedboat transfers, a complimentary floating breakfast, Island Host service and in-room check-in.

Guests will also receive access to leisure facilities, bicycle use, a daily house reef boat trip, selected chef’s treats and a 20% discount on certain spa treatments during the first two days of their stay, subject to terms and conditions.
