Global Village will close Season 30 on May 31, with organisers encouraging residents and tourists to visit during the final week to enjoy entertainment shows, shopping deals, dining experiences and Carnaval attractions.
The multicultural destination has also extended its special family ticket offer until the end of the season. Visitors can buy four entry tickets for Dhs30 at ticket counters from Sunday to Thursday, excluding weekends.
Eid celebrations
Global Village will mark Eid Al Adha during the final days of the season, the first Eid celebration at the destination since Season 18, according to organisers.
The venue will feature festive decorations, light shows and themed installations throughout the Eid period. Visitors can also attend the Al Mandoos Live Game Show on May 27 and 28 at 9pm on the Main Stage, hosted by Abdulla Esmaeel.
Season 30 will conclude with a DJ performance on May 31 at 9.30pm.
Shopping deals
The final week also gives visitors a last opportunity to explore the destination’s country pavilions for fashion, accessories, home décor and regional products.
Popular shopping spots include the Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and UAE pavilions for abayas and fashion, while China and Thailand offer jewellery and accessories. Guests can also find handcrafted décor from Morocco, Iraq and Turkey, along with dates, honey and spices from Yemen, Lebanon, Syria and India.
Food experiences
Global Village continues to offer more than 250 dining options featuring international cuisines and street food concepts.
Key dining areas include Fiesta Street for global street food, Happiness Street for casual comfort food, and the Floating Market, known for Asian-inspired dishes and seafood overlooking Dragon Lake.
Carnaval attractions
The Carnaval Unlimited Rides offer for Dhs99 will remain available until the season closes.
Visitors can access rides including Toronto Tornado, Cape Gliders, Rio Rocket, Desert Dashers and York Bikes. Family attractions such as Horror Hotel, The Dragon Kingdom, EXO Planet City and Secrets of the Lost City will also continue operating during the final week.
Global Village will operate from 5pm to midnight from Monday to Thursday, and until 1am from Friday to Sunday until the season ends on May 31.
