Abu Dhabi Projects and Infrastructure Centre has announced the return of the Abu Dhabi Infrastructure Summit, set to take place from May 12 to 14 at ADNEC Centre.
Event details
The second edition of the summit, known as ADIS 2026, will be held at the ICC Hall and will focus on urban development and infrastructure planning. The event is being organised under the theme “Urban Evolution: Rethinking Cities, Redefining How We Live”.
It will bring together government officials, business leaders, developers and investors to discuss ways to build more sustainable and efficient cities.
Infrastructure plans
The summit is supported by Abu Dhabi’s infrastructure pipeline valued at $57 billion, covering sectors such as housing, transport, education and culture.
According to ADPIC, the centre delivered 100 capital projects in 2025, highlighting ongoing development activity across the emirate.
Mohamed Ali Al Shorafa, Chairman of the Department of Municipalities and Transport, said: “ADIS is not simply a platform to showcase what Abu Dhabi plans to build. It is a platform to demonstrate how we plan, design, and deliver cities that place people at the centre of development. Through integrated urban planning, advanced mobility systems, and world class infrastructure, Abu Dhabi continues to shape communities that are connected, sustainable, and built to enhance quality of life.
The challenges cities face today require collaboration at an unprecedented scale, and Abu Dhabi remains committed to sharing its governance frameworks, delivery models, and partnerships with the world. ADIS 2026 brings together leaders from across the global ecosystem to advance solutions that enable cities to grow responsibly while serving the needs of communities.”
Maysarah Mahmoud Eid, Director General of ADPIC, said: “Abu Dhabi has earned its position as a global benchmark for infrastructure excellence not through ambition alone, but through execution. ADIS 2026 reflects our continued commitment to advancing this momentum, convening leading global partners, investors and innovators to collectively advance how cities are planned, financed, and delivered. Abu Dhabi’s pipeline is open to the world, and we invite the world’s best to help shape it.”
Global participation
The summit will include a multi-day conference, exhibition and business meetings, focusing on infrastructure delivery, sustainability, urban wellbeing and smart solutions.
For the first time, sessions will be held in collaboration with International Federation of Consulting Engineers, covering contracting and project delivery standards.
ADIS 2026 is also expected to see wider international participation, including delegations from Singapore, China and Türkiye.
The previous edition of the summit, attended by Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, attracted more than 4,100 participants from over 100 countries and resulted in 15 agreements.
