18,486 Indian and 9,138 Pakistani companies join Dubai Chamber in 2025

Indian-owned companies continued to dominate new memberships at the Dubai Chamber of Commerce in 2025, according to a recent analysis released by the chamber.

A total of 18,486 Indian businesses joined during the year, marking an 11% year-on-year (YoY) increase and highlighting Dubai’s sustained appeal for Indian investors and entrepreneurs.

Overall, 71,830 new companies became members of the chamber in 2025, bringing total active membership to 292,486 by the end of the year, up from 258,318 in 2024. This represents annual growth of 13.2%.

Top countries

Following India, Pakistan ranked second with 9,138 new companies registered, reflecting a 12% increase compared to 2024. Egypt secured third place with 5,043 new businesses joining the chamber.

The United Kingdom came fourth with 2,733 new companies, showing 5% YoY growth. Bangladesh followed closely with 2,721 new members, up 15% from the previous year. Syria accounted for 1,907 new businesses, China added 1,583 new companies with 7% growth, and Jordan contributed 1,325 new registrations. Türkiye recorded 1,308 new companies, while the United States rounded out the top ten with 1,054 new members.

Sectoral distribution

Analysis of sectoral activity among new members shows that the Real Estate, Renting, and Business Services sector accounted for the largest share, representing 37.6% of new company registrations. Wholesale and Retail Trade followed with 34.5%, while Construction accounted for 17.2%.

Other sectors included Social and Personal Services at 7.9% and Transport, Storage, and Communications at 7.2% of new member activity.

The data underlines Dubai’s position as a strategic hub for international businesses across diverse industries, attracting both regional and global investors seeking growth opportunities in the UAE.
