Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, the 32nd UAE President’s Cup Series for Purebred Arabian Horses heads to Stockholm for its sixth leg.
The race will be held on Friday, June 6, 2025, at Gärdet Turf Track and coincides with Sweden’s National Day. It marks a historic milestone as Scandinavia’s most valuable Arabian horse race, offering a prize purse of €100,000.
Nine elite horses
Nine elite horses will compete in the Listed category for four-year-olds and up, over a distance of 1500 meters. Among them is the UAE representative, the filly Hawlah, owned by YAS Horse Racing Management. Sired by Mehabb and out of Dahyah bint Munjiz, she is trained by Élisabeth Bernard and will be ridden by jockey Valentin Seguy.
Notable contenders include Rasmey Al Khalediah, a two-time winner of the Sweden leg in 2021 and 2022, trained by Janusz Kozłowski and ridden by Eduardo Pedroza; and Fareedah B, the reigning champion of the Netherlands leg (2024), owned and trained by Peter Deckers and ridden by Fabrice Veron. Other participants are Wasmey Al Khalediah, Mashho T, No Risk No Reward, Ayman, Gindor de Bozouls, and Cappuccino.
