93% UAE residents plan to go on holiday, Here is why!

Travel to and from Dubai is on the rise, thanks to the governments around the world for easing the coronavirus restrictions.

A new study has revealed that 93 percent of the UAE residents are planning to go on holidays in the next 12 months. In fact, it is great to see so many people from the UAE want to travel the world and explore different cultures.

The survey was conducted by Marriott Bonvoy in the month of October in 2022.

Half of them – almost 45 percent – are eager to go on a trip to their favorite destinations imminently leading up to and through the winter.

According to the findings, most of the UAE residents have planned to go on vacations before February 2023.

Interestingly, almost 70 percent of them said that they are planning to spend more on their holidays this time as compare to the previous years.

While 75 percent will embark on a journey to their travel bucket, 48 percent have devised plans to explore new destinations that they have never visited before in their lifetime.

Around 33 percent UAE adults have missed their target to discover the new places and culture due to the pandemic, which badly affected the travel industry in the recent past.

The survey revealed that about 20 percent of UAE residents have intention to travel more in the coming months.

Activities on UAE travellers bucket list

–  31 percent interested in adventure

–  13 percent in skydiving and soaking up the local culture

–  10 percent plan to experiment new things

–  8 percent will attend an iconic sporting event

Almost 40 percent of the UAE residents have missed spending quality time with their loved ones on vacations, therefore, 55 per cent of travellers want to see the world along with their family.
